Our finishes are our opportunity for luxury. When talk finish we are referring to the tip and heightof the yarn. For example, finish 7 uses low loop yarn as a field and a raised cut yarn for the detail. This high/low treatment yields a subtle shadow giving the surface a higher status, more presence within the room design. On the other hand you may want to dial down the role of the area rug by choosing finish 1, a level cut pile.
Each rug is shown with a suggested surface texture, Most of our designers are happy to go “as shown”, but you may certainly have your own ideas and we welcome your creative changes.
You will notice that the three methods of rug making each have a different set of finishes available. So when making your changes within a weaving method, be sure the finish is avaialable Check out the small box to see if the finish goes with the method.
